A Riga based company, with an office in Dublin, has been actively helping clients based worldwide save time and money through expert advice on international company formation, accounting and tax matters since 1994. This is a dynamic industry that is always on the rise. During the past five years, the company has shown great development and is currently looking for a full-time:

SENIOR INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTANT

Job Description:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·Complete month-end closings for our group company's local and international entities including transfer pricing and intercompany accounting (4 – 6 entities);

·Work with management to ensure accuracy and validity of the month-end close amounts;

·Review, analyze and interpret all types of account activity;

·Complete schedules for year-end audit and provide assistance to outside auditors as needed;

·Prepare VIES and VAT filings, assist with other tax filings and tax matters as needed;

·Review daily / monthly cash requirement to ensure sufficient funding;

·Work closely with Client Managers and Controller to manage outstanding account receivables and account payables;

·Prepare reports and analysis to compile information to be used in annual budget process;

·Analyze reports in order to conduct management budget meetings;

·Special projects as requested by management.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Economics is required.

· 5+ year’s professional experience in international accounting, financial analyses and reporting.

· Experience preparing and recording journal entries and performing account reconciliations and analysis.

· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment.

· Good knowledge of various accounting programs a plus

· Excellent Latvian, Russian and English language skills, both orally and in writing
